Weronika Falkowska is a professional tennis player from Poland, who achieved her highest WTA singles ranking of No 240 in January 2023 and a doubles ranking of No 83 on August 28, 2023.
Born on June 17, 2000, in Warsaw, Weronika Falkowska began playing tennis at a young age, demonstrating significant talent and ability.
Weronika Falkowska made her debut in the WTA Tour main draw at the 2021 Poland Open, entering as a lucky loser. In her first match, she faced Katerina Bondarenko, who had previously defeated her in the qualifying rounds, but Falkowska won decisively in under an hour, conceding only two games. Additionally, she claimed the doubles title at the 2022 WTA 125 Andorrà Open alongside partner Cristina Bucșa, overcoming Angelina Gabueva and Anastasia Zakharova in the final.
Weronika Falkowska, alongside Katarzyna Kawa, secured the doubles championship at the 2023 WTA 125 Copa Oster, triumphing over Kyoka Okamura and You Xiaodi in a final that was decided by a champions tiebreak. In partnership with Katarzyna Piter, she advanced to her inaugural WTA 250 final at the 2023 WTA Poland Open, where they were defeated by Heather Watson and Yanina Wickmayer. Additionally, the duo finished as runners-up at the 2023 WTA 125 Veneto Open, succumbing in the final to Han Na-lae and Jang Su-jeong.
In a remarkable achievement, Weronika Falkowska, alongside her partner Martyna Kubka, secured the doubles title at the 2024 WTA 125 Poland Open by overcoming the duo of Céline Naef and Nina Stojanovic in the final match.
Subsequently, in March 2025, Weronika Falkowska claimed her first doubles title of the year, marking the 27th of her career, at the ITF W35 tournament held in Solarino, Sicily. Partnering with American player Paris Corley, they triumphed over Samira de Stefano and Gaja Maduzz in straight sets during the final. Additionally, Weronika Falkowska reached the singles final of the same tournament but was defeated by Taiwan’s Joanna Garland.
