Ekaterina Reyngold is Russian tennis player, who has a career top ranking of world’s No 226 in singles and No 196 in doubles. She has won 2 ITF singles and 14 doubles titles.
Ekaterina Reyngold was born on April 7, 2001, in Moscow, Russia. She started in tennis as a kid and showed great skills and passion in sport. As junior she won the J30 Jurmala \ Jurmala Open in 2018 and J4 Kaarina \ ALK Open in 2016, but also was the runner-up at the J4 St Petersburg \ Governor Cup in 2017 and the Kazan Cup in 2015.
Ekaterina Reyngold made her professional debut in 2018 at the $15,000 W15 Stockholm (Sweden), reaching the semi-finals. By the end of the season, she played also at the $15,000 W15 Solarino (Italy), but reached only the second round.
In 2019, she started at the $15,000 W15 Parnu (Estonia) and reached the quarter-finals, before playing in the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Sozopol (Bulgaria). During the season, she continue gaining experience in the ITF Circuit, reaching another quarter-final at the $15,000 W15 Antalya (Turkey).
After very short 2020 season, Ekaterina Reyngold returned on the court in 2021, playing her most successful and longest season so far. She was the runner-up at the $15,000 W15 Monastir (Tunisia) and reached the semi-finals of the $25,000 W25 Pune (India), as well as the quarte-finals of the $15,000 W15 Prokuplje (Serbia) and $25,000 W25 Karaganda (Kazakhstan). She climbed to world’s Top 701 at the end of the season. In doubles, she triumphed at W15 Kazan (Russia), W25 Karaganda (Kazakhstan), W15 Monastir (Tunisia), and W15 Sozopol (Bulgaria).
In 2022, Ekaterina Reyngold won her first ITF title, triumphing at the $25,000 W25 Navi Mumbai (India). During the season, she was the runner-up at the $25,000 W35 Santa Margherita Di Pula (Italy) and $25,000 W25 Jerusalem (Israel), and semi-finalist at the $60,000 W60 Meitar (Israel) and $25,000 W25 Agadir (Morocco), as well as the quarter-finalist at the $25,000 W25 Hua Hin (Thailand) and $25,000 W25 Kiryat Motzkin (Israel). Meanwhile, she played at some W100 tournaments in Dubai (UAE) and Versmold (Germany), but did not overcome the first round. Her ranking climber to career-high of world’s No 226 at the end of the season. Her doubles season, however, was quite more successful winning four titles in total – W25 Kiryat Motzkin (Israel) with Weronika Falkowska, W60 Vrnjacka Banja (Serbia) and W25 Santa Margherita di Pula (Italy) with Darya Astakhova, as well as W25 Horb (Germany) with Ekaterina Makarova.
In 2023, Ekaterina Reyngold played another final at the $25,000 W25 El Espinar (Spain) and quarter-finals at the $25,000 W25 Ourense (Spain) and $15,000 W15 Valencia (Spain), but did not won another trophy. However, she played at the $100,000 W100 Les Franqueses del Valles (Spain) and $60,000 W60 Nantes (France), in attempt to gain more experience in higher ranked tournaments. After the unsuccessful season, she dropped in the ranking to the world’s No 494.
Ekaterina Reyngold continue playing in the ITF Circuit in 2024, reaching the quarter-finals at the $35,000 W35 Hammamet (Tunisia) and the semi-finals at the $50,000 W50 Navi Mumbai (India). However, these were her top achievements during the season and after disappointing performance dropped our of world’s Top 500. In doubles she had quite successful season, winning the titles at the W100 Les Franqueses del Valles (Spain) and W50 Pretoria (South Africa) with Alina Charaeva and the trophy at the W35 Hammamet (Tunisia) with Carson Branstine.
In 2025, Ekaterina Reyngold won her second ITF title at the $15,000 W15 Antalya (Turkey). Meanwhile, during the season, she reached the quarter-finals of the $50,000 W50 Ahmedabad (India) and $30,000 W35 Nonthaburi (Thailand). Meanwhile, in doubles she won the title at the W35 Gurugram (India), partnering with Ekaterina Makarova.
